Case History: Whirlpool

CHALLENGE

The Whirlpool Europe office, responsible for all Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) countries needed to coordinate all managed brand communication at a central level, in order to remove inefficiencies within the materials management process.

THE PROJECT

We developed 4BRANDCARE, a software solution which is configured and customised specifically for this client, is managed by the European Marketing office, based in Italy.
It allows the countries to select and customise multi-channel customer communication within the defined guidelines managed by the European Marketing office. Consequently catalogues, brochures and other communication materials appropriate to their target markets, conform to a multi-country logic, distinct for each brand, including Whirlpool, Indesit, KitchenAid, Hotpoint, Bauknecht.

Each country has access to the communication materials they manage and can customise and translate them, through a dedicated interface.
In addition, through some automisation, the country creates the product data sheets and the energy label, with data directly imported from the mainframe.
In this case, 4BRANDCARE was enriched with part of the creation and sending of DEM, with modular templates, where the contents are dynamically fed by the core part of the solution (images and product data sheets).

For a more effective use of the content on mobile devices, we have introduced 4PUBLISH, the solution for desktop and mobile digital publishing, which interacts with Adobe InDesign, allowing the creation of a dedicated App on iTunes and Google Play stores, with continuous monitoring by the Analytics function.
